* A Call for Volunteers  *

The Labour Museum & SIPTU  are seeking volunteers to work on producing a  panelled tapestry   which will commemorate  the 1913 Lockout.     It is hoped that this art piece will be made as a joint project with craft groups and skilled individuals and the piece will become a public piece of art

The Guild holds a large selection of Library books , which are available for members to borrow.  Over the course of early 2011 , I will be compiling an online list for you to view.  If you wish to borrow a book , email, info@weavers.ie  stating your name, address and I will arrange to have the books sent to you.   Members will have to cover the cost of the postage but there is no fee for borrowing the books.   

You will find some very rare books among our collection so happy browsing !!

We also have a comprehensive slide collection showing details of all previous Guild exhibitions since our guild was formed !!
