I
am an American living and working (weaving) in Dublin. I came to Dublin
in 1968 and have been based here ever since. From early childhood
I was interested in craft and handwork and I first started making
rugs when I was a teenager. This interest eventually brought me to
weaving and rug making is my predominant interest. However, I also
do tapestry, fabric, and crios weaving.
I have traveled and lived in many different countries where I have
exhibited my weaving: including, St. Lucia, Fiji, Bangladesh, Bhutan,
Ghana, and Kenya.
In Ireland I have been an active member of the Irish Guild of Weavers
Spinners and Dyers since 1983, participating regularly in exhibitions
and craft shows, in addition to attending meetings and workshops and
serving on the Guild Committee at intervals.
I
have been a member of the Kilternan Country Market for over 20 years
and sell my work each week at their Saturday market
